Found: vintage photograph

Something about the couple (let's call them Richard and Violet) in this vintage photograph made it impossible to leave behind. I'm not sure whether it was his Adam Gilchrist ears, or his Tintin outfit, or her funky beret and perfect curls, but I couldn't leave it behind.

The photo was made into a postcard by Sunbeam Photos in Margate, a major seaside resort in England. No date, but going by the plus fours (kind of like knickerbockers) worn by Richard, and Violet's generously cut, side fastened trousers, it's a fair bet that the photo is circa early 1930s.
